TODAYS MARKETS INSIGHT
Nifty opened with a gap-down of over 110 points today, but found support near the day’s lows at 19,512 and recovered more than 140 points. However, the index came under selling pressure again in the second half of the session and closed marginally above its 50-DMA. All sectoral indices declined except Nifty Auto (+0.5%), Media (+0.1%), and FMCG (+0.1%), with Metal (-0.9%), Financial Services (-0.4%), and Pharma (-0.4%) leading the decline.
